Hi again - I’m Jen Taylor. I’ve led and mentored individuals and teams for over 30 years. I have also developed a lot of talent throughout my career. I have held many roles, including several executive levels roles at the two largest Canadian financial institutions. Along the way, I was incredibly fortunate also to be mentored and led by some exceptional leaders (and the opposite in some cases) who taught me so much.

I am a lifelong learner – I have been described as a dedicated leader with a charismatic energy which contributed to my career progression and success. I was grateful for the opportunity to be selected for a myriad of formal leadership/coaching programs that were instrumental in enhancing my capabilities relating to communications, building relationships, conflict resolution, inspiring and motivating personal and collective results, etc.

In addition to formal learning, I passionately pursue knowledge and all of the practical hands-on stuff through a relentless practice of reading and doing…. trying different approaches as an individual, leader, and coach to develop the wisdom I possess now. Transitioning out of the corporate world I have the desire to pass along the knowledge and learning and I am keen to share and help.

Noteworthy achievements I am proud of:

· Mentored over 100 individuals and teams over the course of my career

· Recognized with many leadership awards,

· Earned RBC’s annual cruise convention for top performers,

· Earned a spot at TD’s Champions Club, based on top quartile business results across Canada, while a District Vice President.

Jen, you have enriched and touched so many lives. Your kindness, heart, and leadership have taught me so much over the years and have allowed me to grow in so many ways. I feel so blessed to have you in my life and call you my friend. I'm thrilled about your next adventure and know you'll keep making a huge impact in so many people's lives. Big hugs xo

JT, you will be amazing no matter what you do. You have had such a positive impact on everyone who has been fortunate enough to be part of your journey so far. I couldn't have wished for a better partner all those years ago (2008??) and I always think back on the fun we had even when working through some tough projects. I was an exhausted new mom and your high energy and motivation pulled me through. Congratulations on all you have accomplished and wishing you all the very best in whatever is next (because that is what you deserve my friend).

Jennifer, you are truly one of the smartest, most kind, and incredible people that I know. You have left a legacy behind you that shows all of the above, including comments like, "when Jennifer was our...." which is always followed by a flattering ending. You always have the right words, logical thinking, and HEART to tie everything together and gave everything your all! You have, and continue to, always put others above yourself first and it's the effort that you do this with that shows your true colours. You are (and will continue to be) missed at work but will never be missed as a friend...that's for life! Can't wait to see where this journey takes but I am positive, it will be a great one....that's just YOU!!! Congratulations again! Wishing you all the best times to spend with Joe, Nicole, and Sam going forward!

Jen, you are without a shadow of a doubt the most passionate, empathetic, driven, inspiring leader I have ever worked for and with. You tought me the true meaning of compassionate leadership (and that it’s possible with great success) and I have carried that with me ever since.

Thrilled for you, there is so much more you can do, and now you are free to do it.
